Leah Tobey, MBA, PT, DPT

Leah is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University, The University of Central Arkansas with a doctorate in physical therapy, and The University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a M.B.A. Leah has a variety of roles at UAMS the first being the Clinical Coordinator for HRSA’s grant-funded Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) called AR Geriatric Education Collaborative, or “AGEC” at the Reynold’s Institute on Aging through which she teaches and trains the healthcare workforce to implement optimal age-friendly care for older adults within the ARcare clinic network.  Leah is faculty within the UAMS College of Medicine: Center for Health Services Research at PRI and is an Academic Detailer, teaching opioid-sparing, non-pharmacologic alternatives to pain management. Leah has 12 years of orthopedic, geriatric and pelvic health outpatient experience and serves as the physical therapist within UAMS Chronic Pain Division.
