Overview

Objectives
  1. Discuss the difficulties in treating chronic pain patients.
  2. Discuss the current opioid epidemic in Arkansas.
  3. Review the current statistics of opiate use in the state of Arkansas and around the nation.
  4. Analyze basic practice solutions to improving pain management without opiates in your office.
  5. Discuss alternatives to opioid therapy in chronic pain management.
  6. Discuss the effectiveness of effectiveness acupuncture and other alternative treatment methods.

American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
