Overview
Annual continuing education lecture traditionally for pharmacists that has now been expanded to include physicians, nurses, and certified health education specialists.

Objectives
  1. Discuss the epidemiology of the Opioid Problem across the nation and in Arkansas.
  2. Discuss the reasons for limited access to evidence based treatment for opioid use disorders in Arkansas.
  3. Identify evidence based intervention strategies including medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorders.
  4. Discuss communication challenges healthcare professionals face in prescribing.
  5. Discuss the impact impact of expanded access to Medication Assisted Treatment in the state of Arkansas

Registration
Registration is free. However, for tracking purposes we would still like each attendee to register.
