  1. Discuss importance of clinician empathy, compassion, and education when working with patients and families.
  2. Promote awareness of the empowerment associated with caregiver partnerships and collaboration in care.
  3. Discuss the importance of social boundaries and patient care.
  4. Discuss ethical issues of social media usage in health care.
  5. Discuss the impact of telemedicine on patients with chronic illness.
  6. Provide an overview of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
  7. Discuss the respiratory management of SMA.
  8. Discuss new and emerging pharmacologic treatments for SMA.
  9. Discuss best practices in managing asthma.
  10. Examine ACH research topics.
