This interactive conference is designed to provide interprofessional continuing education on a variety of topics in emergency medicine. Whether you're a physician, nurse, pharmacist, public health professional, or health/medical educator, this symposium is a great opportunity to collaborate and network with other emergency medicine professionals and learn valuable information.

Objectives
  1. Understand the challenges of the current opioid epidemic in Arkansas.
  2. Discuss the challenges related to opioids in the ED.
  3. Discuss the challenges of managing psychiatric emergencies.
  4. Describe the various types of traumatic injuries and the most appropriate assessment and prehospital care to prevent long term disability.
  5. Recognize and know the treatment plans for various Pediatric Emergencies.
