Continuing education about dementia screening, pharmacological and non-pharmacological management strategies, and caring for patients with dementia. Providing healthcare providers and caregivers with evidence-based updates in battling dementia.


Objectives
  1. Discuss the signs and symptoms of dementia.
  2. Discuss appropriate strategies for management of behavioral systems.
  3. Identify support services and resources for managing patients with dementia.
  4. Identify common behavioral issues seen in dementia patients..
  5. Discuss diagnostic modalities for stratifying dementia for primary care providers.
  6. Discuss medication and safety concerns of patients with dementia.
  7. Discuss exercise strategies for improving cognition in dementia patients.
  8. Identify legal issues of patients with dementia.
