Team Up Autism 2017

This conference is designed to provide current resources and information to families & professionals caring for a child diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. A limited number of family scholarships will be available. Conference program with registration & hotel information will be available soon at www.archildrens.org.

1. Name behavior interventions for autism that are evidence based
2. Identify which social communication interventions that are evidence based and are appropriate based on the language ability of the child
3. Create a list of possible causes of each behavior disruption incident and select a more effective intervention to deploy
4. Identify the potential pitfalls that caregivers of children with autism face in meeting the needs of their child and managing the needs of their family
5. Describe attributes of autism population that have changed over time
6. Name local resources that can help teens with autism develop a plan for their transition into adulthood
7. Enumerate steps that can be taken to keep children with autism safe
