Preparing Arkansas Nurses and Patient Educators to use Consumer Health Resources will be taught to nurse and patient educators in hospitals and clinics throughout the state. This course will focus on consumer health resources and will utilize a Train the Trainer model to allow nurses to assist in educating each other. Consumer genetics sites will also be introduced. The presentation will be accessible on the internet.

1. Identify a variety of authoritative consumer health information websites.
2. Navigate consumer health sites to find needed information.
3. Analyze consumer health websites for usability and authority.
