Overview
This 20th Annual Geriatrics and Long-Term Care Conference is an interprofessional educational activity designed to provide the latest updates on the most current evidence-based standards and research in geriatric medicine and long-term care management.

Objectives
  1. Discuss programs, applications and activities for caregivers.
  2. Identify and propose resources for caregivers.
  3. Employ strategies to optimize care for advanced dementia.
  4. Discuss the role of nutrition in the geriatric population.
  5. Compare changes in healthcare and the impact on the elderly.
  6. Identify common health conditions in the geriatric population.
  7. Analyze issues and best practices in Long Term Care.
  8. Discuss new medications and the concerns with some older medications.

Limited exhibit space is available at the 2019 Geriatrics and Long-Term Care Update to be held September 19-21, 2019 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Reynolds Institute on Aging on the UAMS Campus. 

 

*Exhibitors will be set up in an open room across the hall from the auditorium where the educational material is being delivered.

 

Exhibit fee:  $350 per space/per day; All three days for $750

 

 Exhibit fee includes:

  • Six foot table with cover
  • Listing in acknowledgement materials
  • List of conference attendees
  • Breakfast, breaks and reception setup in exhibitor area
  • One complimentary conference registration

 

 Target audience:

Healthcare professionals working with the elderly population, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, nursing home administrators, certified medical directors, PT/OT, and other allied health care professionals.
