The Second Annual UAMS Dermatology Fall Clinical Symposium

Our department is hosting the second annual UAMS Dermatology Fall Clinical Symposium on Saturday, October 24th. This symposium provides dermatologists throughout the state of Arkansas and beyond the opportunity to share the latest developments in clinical practice. This event also offers residents and medical students a platform to present challenging patient cases, and engages participants in determining ways to incorporate recent updates in patient care into their practices. The symposium will last from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are moving this year's event from the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus to Zoom.

1. Cite, summarize, and apply new medical information to improve clinical care.
2. Participate in peer to peer learning to foster communication skills and collaboration between healthcare providers.
3. Develop skills in diagnosis of rare and challenging dermatological diseases.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (4.50 hours), AAPA - American Academy of PAs Category 1 CME (4.50 hours), ANCC - American Nurses Credentialing Center (4.50 hours), Non-Physician AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (4.50 hours)

In support of improving patient care, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
