The plenary speaker is the world simulation expert, Professor Debra Nestel, Professor of Simulation Education in Healthcare, Monash University, and Professor of Surgical Education, Department of Surgery, University of Melbourne, Australia. In addition this event will showcase the benefits of collaboration with the Center for Health Literacy for our patients.

Objectives
  1. Describe the four domains of interprofessional education and interprofessional collaborative practice as they relate to interprofessional simulations
  2. Identify areas within the learner's clinical practice in which interprofessional simulation education could be applied to benefit knowledge/skill acquisition and patient care
  3. Apply the knowledge gained from this event to develop a local strategy to implement interprofessional simulation projects
