HPCAA Annual Conference

The Hospice & Palliative Care Conference is a 3-day continuing education event to provide clinical and social education in the areas of palliative care, pain management, communication and end-of-life care.

1. Manage the physical, psychological, and social causes of distress in life limited patients and their families
2. Develop practical strategies for introducing discussions of a patient's end of life care plan
3. Identify ethical issues as they relate to hospice and palliative care
4. Implement processes in their own practices to improve patient care

In support of improving patient care, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
