2021 Pharmacy Update: Webinar Series

The Pharmacy Update is a webinar series designed to up date pharmacists, nurses, PAs, physicians and other healthcare professionals interested in evidence-based pharmaceutical topics. The series will focus on updates on COVID vaccines, HIV prevention, transgender care; mental health for healthcare providers; and strategies for successful practice for patients. The series will be offered in one hour noon webinars presented through a virtual format. Dates are November 16, 17, and 18. December 7 and 9, 2021.

1. Determine when PEP and PrEP are appropriate to use for HIV prevention.
2. Discuss the health disparities experienced by transgender patients.
3. Advocate for improved healthcare for transgender patients.
4. Practice self-care for improved mental health.
5. Discuss the principles for successful patient-centered practice.
6. Utilize strategies to address barriers to COVID 19 vaccination
7. Discuss recent COVID 19 authorizations and guidelines
