APA 139th Annual Convention 2022

The Arkansas Pharmacists Association’s (APA) 139th Annual Convention will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton Downtown Little Rock from June 9-10, 2022. The conference theme, Building for the Future reflects the environment of constant change for pharmacists and other healthcare providers.

1. Analyze recent changes in pharmacy regulations in Arkansas
2. Discuss the reasoning behind changes to pharmacy regulations
3. Describe what determines pharmacist scope of practice
4. Provide overview of current adolescent and adult immunization schedules
5. Describe vaccine safety monitoring and reporting of adverse events

ACPE - Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (13.50 hours), ACPE - Pharmacy Technician (13.50 hours)

In support of improving patient care, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
