Overview
The purpose of this conference is to provide health care professionals with the latest updates on advanced stroke care. This activity will focus on improving knowledge, reducing the gap in treatment, discussing overall patient care outcomes and effectively managing patient care from a 911 perspective. It will also include the impact the COVID-19 variant has had on individuals who would not have normally been impacted by stroke symptoms.

Objectives
  1. Improve knowledge, competence and performance of providers engaged in the care of stroke patients by highlighting best practices and current clinical guidelines.
  2. Reduce the gap between existing practice in the care of a stroke patient and to discuss current updates and recommendations that can impact and improve overall patient care and outcome.
  3. Effectively manage patient care from the activation of 911 through the continuum of the patient experience.
