Overview
To provide an understanding and context of the systemic causes of physician burnout and how they can be rectified by physicians and management


Objectives
  1. Understand the stressors that physicians share and identify the systemic causes of those stressors
  2. Gain a broader perspective on what has led to the creation of those stressors and how they can be undone
  3. Understand what led to the systemic causes of physician burnout and how we fell down the ‘rabbit hole’
  4. : Learn the nationally identified causes of physician burnout, how they occurred, and what can be done to rectify them
  5. The benefits and price that must be paid to fix the system
  6. Charting a Path out of the Tunnel we Inadvertently Created
