Overview
The 37th Annual Pediatric Infectious Disease Update aims to provide education to anyone who provides care to pediatric patients on common infectious disease conundrums that arise, covering topics ranging from COVID to how to handle penicillin allergic patients to diagnosing monkeypox. This course consist of two half days of interactive discussions at Big Cedar Lodge near Branson, Missouri.

Objectives
  1. evaluate and treat patients with novel pathogens such as monkeypox, covid, histoplasmosis and blastomycosis.
  2. plan the best empiric antibiotic regimens for individuals with STIs, UTIs, cervical lymphadenitis and penicillin allergies
  3. be able to counsel patients on COVID vaccines and therapeutics and the nature of pandemics and what to expect in the future.
