2023 Women's Research Day

The Women’s Research Day will have a broad emphasis on women who pursue research, research projects related to women’s health, as well as more general aspects of faculty and career development. We aim to celebrate the successes by and for women and make it a day to connect and learn from each other. Although the focus is on women faculty, all faculty are encouraged to participate. 

Lunch will be served during the keynote address by Shelley Webb, JD, Senior Vice President and General Counsel at PagerDuty. She will present Building and Inspiring Teams to Achieve Greatness.

Poster Reception 

There will be a reception immediately after the conference from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. This wine & hors d'oeuvres event will feature research posters by women faculty. 

AMA Credit Designation Statement
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designates this live activity for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ACPE Credit Designation Statement
These knowledge based activities will provide pharmacists up to 4 contact hours or 0.4 CEU.  CE credit information, based on verification of live attendance and completion of the program evaluation, will be provided to NABP within 60 days after the activity completion. 

ANCC Credit Designation Statement
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designates this live activity for a maximum of 4 ANCC contact hours.  Nursing contact hours will be awarded for successful completion of program components based upon documented attendance and completion of evaluation materials.

AAPA Credit Designation Statement
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 4 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

2. Discuss methods for building resiliency for the grant-writing process.
3. Determine ways to develop a leadership growth plan.
4. Implement wellness strategies into both professional and personal life experiences.
