LRCCP: Trauma Update

The annual Little Rock Critical Care Program Trauma Update provides information on the most recent evidence-based care for critically injured patients.

ANCC Credit Designation Statement
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.25 ANCC contact hours.  Nursing contact hours will be awarded for successful completion of program components based upon documented attendance and completion of evaluation materials.

1. verbalize the immediate care of a patient with a spinal cord injury.
2. state the purpose of a neuropsychologist providing care for a TBI patient.
3. identify the initial management of a critically injured patient in the emergency department.

In support of improving patient care, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
