Overview

This year's AAHP Fall Seminar is themed "Level Up: Advancing Practice, Expanding Possibilities". It is a two-day in-person seminar that brings together those interested in health-system pharmacy for educational opportunities to help advance and expand pharmacy practice in Arkansas.

ACPE Credit Designation Statement

These knowledge-based activities will provide pharmacists up to 10.5 contact hours or 1.05 CEU.  CE credit information, based on verification of live attendance and completion of the program evaluation, will be provided to NABP within 60 days after the activity completion. 


Objectives
  1. Integrate emerging clinical trial data and consensus guidelines into daily practice to optimize pharmacotherapy for patients across the care continuum, from acute critical care to longitudinal ambulatory settings.
  2. Design actionable professional development strategies that expand the scope of pharmacy technicians and empower pharmacists to drive practice advancement.
  3. Evaluate clinical and operational workflows to implement technology-driven safeguards and personnel models that maximize medication safety and patient outcomes.

In support of improving patient care, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
