Overview
The 23rd Annual Geriatrics and Long-Term Care Conference is an interprofessional educational activity designed to provide the latest updates on the most current evidence-based standards and research in geriatric medicine and long-term care management.


Objectives
  1. Discuss strategies transitions of care in rural settings.
  2. Discuss the role of nutrition in the geriatric population.
  3. Discuss changes in healthcare and the impact on the elderly.
  4. Identify common health conditions in the geriatric population.
  5. Identify issues and best practices in Long-Term Care.
  6. Discuss new medications and the concerns with some older medications.
