Arkansas Healthcare Risk Management Seminar: Emerging Issues in Healthcare Risk Management

Educational event for Risk Managers to increase knowledge on newly reported risk issues affecting Arkansas healthcare providers and their organizations.

1. Learners will recognize an increase in knowledge about newly reported risk issues affecting Arkansas healthcare providers and their healthcare organizations.
2. Learners will express an increase in confidence in establishing or enhancing organizational policies and procedures that address emerging clinical, operational, regulatory and legal risk issues affecting Arkansas' healthcare industry.
3. Learners will describe one change in practice that supports adherence to successful management of newly reported risk issues.

ANCC - American Nurses Credentialing Center (5.00 hours)

In support of improving patient care, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
