Overview
The RASCO Symposium target audience includes oncology specialists, primary care physicians, nurses and pharmacists. Thesymposium content focuses on providing immediate clinically relevant content that participants may not be aware of or mayhave missed for various reasons. In many cases, gaps are caused by lack of dissemination of up-to-date information. Rascoserves as a unique opportunity where these participants have the opportunity to be exposed to experts in all relevant fieldsreviewing up to date information that is immediately available on campus.

Objectives
  1. Develop awareness of surgical techniques to address morbidity of colorectal surgery
  2. Select appropriate medical therapies from newly approved agents
  3. Identify clinical cases that would benefit from care or treatment as evidenced by data recently madeavailable in published literature recently made
  4. Incorporate recent significant diagnostic tools and their clinical implications
  5. Identify ancillary services that have been demonstrated to benefit GI cancer patients
  6. Develop awareness of and solution to the use of opiods in cancer patients
