Overview
The seminar focuses on in-depth discussions of infections commonly encountered in clinical practice, along with new strategies for prevention and treatment.

Objectives
  1. Demonstrate how to counsel an HIV-positive mother on breastfeeding and PrEP in a pediatric setting.
  2. Identify appropriate empiric and targeted antibiotic therapy for a child with a recurrent UTI due to ESBL.
  3. Evaluate the effectiveness of current interventions used to reduce vaccine hesitancy in your practice.
  4. Develop a treatment plan for a neonate born to a mother with untreated syphilis.
  5. Assess and manage a suspected case of measles.
