ANCC Credit Designation Statement

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designates this live activity for a maximum of 9.0 ANCC contact hours.  Nursing contact hours will be awarded for successful completion of program components based upon documented attendance and completion of evaluation materials.

ACPE Credit Designation Statement

These knowledge-based activities will provide pharmacists up to 9.0 contact hours or 0.9 CEU.  CE credit information, based on verification of live attendance and completion of the program evaluation, will be provided to NABP within 60 days after the activity completion. 

AAPA Credit Designation Statement

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 9.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

MOC PART 2 Credit:

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 9.0 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

  1. Demonstrate how to counsel an HIV-positive mother on breastfeeding and PrEP in a pediatric setting.
  2. Identify appropriate empiric and targeted antibiotic therapy for a child with a recurrent UTI due to ESBL.
  3. Evaluate the effectiveness of current interventions used to reduce vaccine hesitancy in your practice.
  4. Develop a treatment plan for a neonate born to a mother with untreated syphilis.
  5. Assess and manage a suspected case of measles.
