Lynn Harris Memorial Lectureship 2025

This will be a one-hour lecture by Dr. Morris whose research focuses on the role of emotional regulation and how it impacts their developmental trajectory. Lecture will be live with Zoom capabilities .

ANCC Credit Designation Statement

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 ANCC contact hours.  Nursing contact hours will be awarded for successful completion of program components based upon documented attendance and completion of evaluation materials.

AAPA Credit Designation Statement

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. 1. • Define resilience and how resilience has been studied in the past;
2. • Review findings from the original Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) study and recent scientific evidence on the effects of ACEs;
3. • Identify an interdisciplinary framework that integrates research on adversity and resilience, the I-CARE (Intergenerational and Cumulative Adverse and Resilient Experiences) Model;
4. • Review current research on Protective and Compensatory Experiences (PACEs) and how PACEs benefit children, families, and caregivers, emphasizing the importance of advocating for children and providing community supports to promote resilience.
5. • Define how to promote more protective experiences and resilience in pediatric settings.
