The Conference theme is "Reconstructing Health: Aligning Patients, Providers, and Policy for a Healthier Future.”

ANCC Credit Designation Statement

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designates this live activity for a maximum of 14.25 ANCC contact hours.  Nursing contact hours will be awarded for successful completion of program components based upon documented attendance and completion of evaluation materials.

ACPE Credit Designation Statement

These knowledge-based activities will provide pharmacists up to 14.25 contact hours or 1.425 CEU.  CE credit information, based on verification of live attendance and completion of the program evaluation, will be provided to NABP within 60 days after the activity completion. 


Objectives
  1. Implement collaborative approaches that engage patients, providers, and policymakers to secure the resources, funding, and institutional support needed to transform awareness of inequities into measurable improvements in outcomes.
  2. Incorporate current guidelines and innovative approaches to HIV screening and therapy, addressing inequities in prevention, diagnosis, and long-term management.
  3. Develop practice strategies that integrate equity frameworks into clinical care, organizational leadership, and community advocacy to advance equitable solutions and reduce generational health gaps.
  4. Apply evidence-based strategies for the diagnosis and treatment of lupus, APOL1-mediated kidney disease, and type 1 diabetes, with attention to equity gaps in patient access and outcomes.
  5. Evaluate emerging advances in cancer diagnosis and treatment therapies, and incorporate approaches that reduce disparities in screening, treatment access, and survivorship.
  6. Analyze how systemic and structural racism, socioeconomic inequities, and environmental exposures contribute to health disparities in the Southern U.S. with emphasis on climate, health, and environmental justice.
